Kim Palmer, Controller
Kim Palmer is the Controller for Specialized Property Management, and has been with the company since 2015. She has over 30 years of experience in Accounting, and is primarily responsible for the daily operation of the accounting department, overseeing all aspects of client transactions. In addition, she is the primary point of contact for owners regarding their accounts and monthly reporting. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Palmer worked as a Senior Accountant for the largest residential property management company in the U.S. She maintained the financial records and performed reporting functions for 30+ property management companies with over $700M in homes under management. Ms. Palmer additionally oversaw the regulatory compliance for multiple companies that were audited and successfully passed by the Department of Real Estate (DRE).
Ms. Palmer received has a B.A. in Business with a Major in Accounting. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, traveling and gardening. She is also committed to the community, and frequents city council meetings.
